Luke Bryan will get the party started at the 47th annual Country Music Awards.  The singer is slated to provide the opening performance for the ceremony.

He's also been tapped to build the excitement for the event with an awards-day performance on ABC's "Good Morning America."  In addition, winners in two categories will be revealed on the morning show.

And the lineup for the CMA Awards continues to grow.  Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Hunter Hayes, and Zac Brown Band are among the latest to sign on for the show, and they'll be featured in special collaborations.

Gill and Krauss are slated to perform with Taylor Swift, while Hayes will team up with singer-songwriter Jason Mraz.

Zac Brown Band will welcome Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl to join them for a song.

The lengthy list of performers also includes George Strait, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Aldean, as well as hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.

The 47th annual CMA Awards will take place in Nashville and air on ABC on November 6th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
